Wigan striker Emile Heskey will have an X-ray to discover the extent of a foot injury sustained during the 0-0 draw against Arsenal.

Heskey, 30, came off after 55 minutes in the match and boss Steve Bruce admitted it was to the same foot that he broke earlier in the season.

"Heskey kicked the bottom of William Gallas' foot and he will go for an x-ray tomorrow [Monday]," said Bruce.

"It is the same foot he broke but we don't know the extent of the damage yet."

The former Leicester, Liverpool and Birmingham hitman earned a recall by England under Steve McLaren and when Fabio Capello announced his preliminary squad for the recent friendly win over Switzerland he was included but missed the game through injury.
