A brief look at how the managers reacted to their sides' performances on Sunday, with Steve Bruce hailing Wigan goalkeeper Chris Kirkland's performance against Arsenal.
Wigan 0-0 Arsenal
Steve Bruce: "You need your keeper to play well against Arsenal and he made two great saves. He was drafted into the England squad and you can see why. The pitch today didn't help, we know that, but it was the same for both. It is going to be tight at the bottom of the Premier League. There are nine teams in it, so let's hope this point is the one that take us clear."
Arsene Wenger: "We are in a patch where we are not taking enough points, but I believe in these players. The focus is good, we will stay calm and we have a very good chance of winning this championship. We've dropped two points here, but we gave everything, fought very hard and the poor pitch did the rest."
Sunderland 0-1 Everton
Roy Keane: "I think there's five, six, seven teams down there fighting and we've said all along it might go to the last week or two. Our run-in is as difficult as anyone's which is why it's been disappointing this last week. Yes, the players are down and disappointed. The day they are not after a defeat will be a very sad day for the club."
David Moyes: "We keep getting told you don't win games when you're coming back from Europe, but I think that's a couple of times we've done it now. We could have gone to Fiorentina and played very well and lost 2-0 but we didn't, we played very badly. But the players showed great character, rolled up their sleeves and came away with three valuable points."
Tottenham 4-0 West Ham
Juande Ramos: "The goals made it easier and we were in control for a large part of the match. It was important to have a victory to recover people's esteem."
Alan Curbishley: It was Chelsea, Liverpool and now Spurs - we went into the week hoping that anything from those games would help keep the pressure up. But we've had a disastrous week. We now have to try to finish the season as strongly as possible. We've given stupid goals away in the three games."
