Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is a concern for the Champions League clash against Internazionale on Wednesday after picking up an ankle injury in the FA Cup quarter-final win over Fulham.
Ferdinand was taken off at half-time and left Craven Cottage with a protective boot on his right foot following the 4-0 win.
The injury setback was the only sour point to a relentless display from United, who remain in the hunt for a quintuple this season.
"Ferdinand is a bit of a concern," United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said. "He went over on his ankle and I hope he is all right for Wednesday because he is so important to us."
Should Ferdinand fail to make the clash at Old Trafford, Jonny Evans would be favourite to step in alongside Nemanja Vidic.
John O'Shea also picked up a knock and it could lead to Darren Fletcher becoming a makeshift right-back on Wednesday - but that would not be a huge problem, given the ease at which Ferguson's players have adapted this season.
"My biggest concern is picking the right team and I'm leaving out great players all the time and that is not easy for me," said the United boss.
"I hope by the end of the year we all recognise that everyone has made a great contribution."
The opening leg of the European clash in Milan ended goalless as United produced a dominant first-half showing.
Internazionale defenders Marco Materazzi and Nicolas Burdisso are definitely out of the tie.
The pair were both injured during Saturday's 2-0 Serie A win at Genoa.
Italian World Cup winner Materazzi appeared to pull a muscle as he reached for the ball in the centre circle during the first half.
And he was soon joined in the treatment room by Burdisso, with midfielder Esteban Cambiasso forced to fill in at the back.
"For Nicolas Burdisso, tests showed a tear in the right leg and a tear in the medial ligament of the left knee," the club stated, adding that Materazzi had a left leg injury.
Fellow centre-back Walter Samuel has returned to full training but Cristian Chivu remains a doubt for Wednesday.

#41 History records THE TREBLE - not the 89 minutes. @#$% happens.
u can forget winning 5 trophies after this match!!
The key player for this game is Rooney, and the key decision is whether to partner him with Berbatov or Tevez. Also in the last three games it has been clear that the opposition have concentrated their counter attacking against O'Shea. Doubtless Mourinho will also have identified this area as Utd's achilles heel. If O'Shea plays, especially if he is also carrying a knock, then he will need midfield cover which Ronaldo does not provide. This, and not the fitness of Ferdinand, will be the manager's greatest dilemma.
He..he...Who will Stop MU To Catch This trofy ... Inter .....?? I think Its gonna be kidding .....?
#21 - YOU SAY GAME SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT TO BED. FOOTBALL GAMES ARE PLAYED OVER 90 MINUTES. I SEEM TO REMEMBER A CERTAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL IN 1999 WHEN BAYERN MUNICH ABSOLUTELY HAMMERED MAN UTD FOR 89 MINUTES AND LOST THE GAME. DIDNT HEAR ANY MAN UTD FANS COMPLAINING THEN THOUGH.
