Wrexham manager Brian Little was at a loss to explain his side's sloppy defending after their 4-1 defeat at the hands of leaders MK Dons.Neil Roberts was on target for the Dragons from the penalty spot on an otherwise disappointing night for Little's men after he was felled by Carl Regan.
Little said: "At any level of football you can't afford to give four goals away. Apart from that in the main I think we played quite well and at 2-1 thought we had a chance."
"They didn't have many more shots than us and we gave three dreadful goals away.
"The first one was poor, the third was a free header and the fourth was last second someone has taken a quick free-kick and we've been caught out.
"The scoreline makes it look like we haven't tried or had a go but I don't think that was the case. Our attitude was spot on and we just conceded silly goals."
