Mathias eyes League Two title tilt

Wed 09 Apr, 12:15 PM

Assistant boss Ray Mathias insists MK Dons will not be happy until they secure the League Two title after they thrashed Wrexham 4-1.Aaron Wilbraham hit a double to take his tally to five goals in his last five league games while Danny Swailes and Sean O'Hanlon got in on the act as the MK Dons reclaimed top spot from Peterborough.

The Dons will be officially promoted if Stockport lose to Mansfield on Wednesday but after securing the Johnstone's Paint Trophy last month, Mathias is keen for his side to add one more piece of silverware to the trophy cabinet.

He said: "We said before the game we've got six games to go, let's go and win the league.

"We've been top of the league since September and we want to stay up there and work hard for the last five games.

"It shows the character in the side to come back and win it 4-1, even it was a little undeserved."
