Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock has already pencilled in keeper Luke McCormick to start in goal for the trip to Sheffield Wednesday next Monday.Coventry-born McCormick, 24, spilled Chris Iwelumo's header from a free-kick which led to Leroy Lita's winner in Charlton's 2-1 victory at Home Park but the Greens boss is backing his man by keeping faith in him at Hillsborough.
Sturrock said: "Luke will start at Sheffield Wednesday next Monday that's for sure.
"People always point the finger at goalkeepers but I'd like to point the finger at people who gave free kicks away in the wrong areas, then the people who got beaten in the air for the headers and who didn't pick up Lita.
"The goalkeeper has put his hands up for the mistakes he made but there were also mistakes by other people. It's a team game. The team lost those goals, not just Luke."
