Crewe have confirmed they have offered a new contract to midfielder Michael O'Connor in a bid to keep him at Alexandra Stadium next season.The Northern Ireland international is a free agent at the end of the season, but the Railwaymen are keen to tie him up on an improved deal.

Goalkeeper Ben Williams, who is out of contract in June 2008, has also been offered a new deal but is unlikely to put pen to paper until he has considered his options in the summer.
