Watford winger Tommy Smith believes Wednesday night's opponents Barnsley will be "emotionally drained" after their FA Cup exit on Sunday. The Hornets can return to the top of the Championship with a win at Vicarage Road but Barnsley are in real relegation trouble after sliding into the bottom three.
Smith told the club's official website: "They're quite a big side and similar to us in many ways.
"It will be a physical game and we had a few decisions go against us in the game up there so it will be nice to get three points over them.
"The biggest thing for them will be the emotional drain and trying to pick themselves back up.
"They have to get a win because they dropped into the bottom three and that might be playing on their minds."
