Former Macclesfield director Jeremy Turner has rejoined the League Two club's board with immediate effect.The local businessman was formerly on the board at Moss Rose during the time of the Silkmen's promotion to the Football League in 1997.

Chairman Mike Rance said: "Jeremy has a real passion for the club and follows the team both home and away whenever his business commitments allow.

"I'm hoping to establish an effective team of working directors at Moss Rose and I know Jeremy will be able to make a real contribution."
