Marciano Van Homoet has admitted he has plenty of regrets looking back at Barnsley's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Cardiff on Sunday. But the Dutch defender is anxious he and his team-mates can bounce straight back after the 1-0 Wembley loss in readiness for a crucial Championship run-in.

Van Homoet told the club's official website: "You never really get over losing a game like that, but we have to make sure we pick our heads up and concentrate on the next six league matches. They are massive and we need to win them.

"It was the biggest game of my career and I want to play at Wembley again. Next time I want to make sure we win. We had the chances. We just did not score them and we lost the game.

"We worked hard throughout, but now I feel that I could have given more and we all have regrets.

"Everybody knows that they could have done better and we could have won the game. We were very down, but now we have to get back up and make sure we win the next six matches."
