On loan midfielder Rio Mavuba is unsure whether his long-term future lies at Lille or back in Spain with parent club Villarreal.
The France international agreed to join the northern club on a temporary deal until the end of the season, but having helped his new side turn around their fortunes since January he could be tempted to extend his stay.
Lille were languishing in 17th place in Ligue 1 when Mavuba arrived but two-and-a-half months later LOSC are in eighth, just a point off fifth place.
"For the moment, it is a little too early to say," he said.
"There are six games left to play and I am taking everything into account. I am trying to just play well.
"I am not putting myself under any needless pressure."
The 24-year-old - who was born at sea to Congolese and Angolan parents but opted to represent France at international level - was farmed out on loan having failed to break into the first team after just six months at Villarreal.
And back in France, he has rediscovered the form that originally convinced Villarreal boss Manuel Pellegrini to take him to Spain.
"I am satisfied with what Lille have done for me and the big effort they have made to welcome me here," he added.
"It's a very good club, a good group of players. I am at ease here, in the region, in the city."
