Fri 09 May, 04:15 PM

Rising Barnet star Albert Adomah has been granted a transfer after handing in a written request for a move away from the Underhill Stadium.Adomah, 20, met with manager Paul Fairclough and chairman Tony Kleanthous to discuss his future and the club have reluctantly agreed to his request.

The winger has already generated interest from a number of Championship clubs and it seems likely a move to a higher division is imminent.

Adamoh told the club's official website: "I have made this move to try to achieve clarity on what is happening out there. Everything has happened very quickly since I joined Barnet."

A club spokesman added: "This is not something that Barnet FC wanted. He remains a Barnet player, but if the right deal is offered to us and the deal is also right for Albert he will go with out best wishes."
