Leeds boss Gary McAllister is confident Jermaine Beckford will be fit to return for Monday's play-off semi-final first leg at home to Carlisle. The 24-year-old striker has been sidelined with an ankle injury since the 3-2 win over the Cumbrians last month.
However, after training on Thursday, McAllister believes United's top-scorer will be fit for the crucial clash at Elland Road.
"We're hopeful about Jermaine. He trained with us on Thursday, then the players are back in Saturday and Sunday before the game," he told the club's official website.
Apart from the suspended Alan Sheehan, McAllister has no new injury problems for the game, but he is giving little away over his team selection.
"I know my starting XI," he added.
