Blackpool defender Stephen Crainey is happy to extend his stay at the Bloomfield Road outfit after enjoying the 2007/8 season.The former Leeds left-back enjoyed an outstanding campaign as the Seasiders staved off the threat of relegation from the Championship.
The club have triggered a clause in his contract which will keep him at the Lancashire side for at least another season.
Crainey said: "I'm delighted. I've really enjoyed my first year here.
"I've had a great run of games and I think I've had a good season. The club's had a good year with staying in the Championship."
