Rochdale manager Keith Hill has turned up the heat on Darlington by suggesting Dave Penney's men have underachieved this season.Dale meet Darlo in League Two the play-off semi-finals with Hill admitting he is surprised by Penney's failure to guide the Quakers to automatic promotion.

Hill - who took Dale to fifth place on a shoestring budget - said: "Darlington will be will prepared by Dave Penney and they have very good footballers in their ranks.

"I expected them to finish in the top three so perhaps they have underachieved."
