West Brom boss Tony Mowbray insists he will be using the loan market to boost his squad ahead of their return to the Premier League. With Premier League rules stipulating that just two loan deals a season are allowed, Mowbray knows he will have to operate shrewdly to improve his squad.
"I think you've got to look at loans, but you are only allowed two internal loans in the Premier League," he told the club's official website. "Once you have used your two you don't get any more all season.
"If we're going to loan from the Premier League we've got to make sure we get them right and not bring in squad players, but players you hope will make an impact on your team."
Mowbray admitted he wouldn't be rushed into any deals and would be prepared to wait for the right player: "If the right ones aren't available we won't be using them.
"If people aren't available in the summer they might be available in January and we've got to remember that."
