Bolton boss Gary Megson is expected to begin ringing the changes as soon as his side's season has been kicked at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.Barring a mathematical catastrophe, Megson's men ended their relegation fears with victory over Sunderland last week and can now look forward to another season in the Premier League.
Megson admitted his long-term plans had been put on hold while he concentrated on keeping the club up but with survival all but sealed he will turn his attention to shaking up his squad.
Jussi Jaaskelainen, El-Hadji Diouf, Ivan Campo, Stelios Giannakopoulos, Ricardo Gardner and Andranik Teymourian are all out of contract with the first two in particular almost certain to leave.
Megson told the Bolton News: "I've promised the players as soon as we definitely know what's happening to us, we'll look at what's going to happen in the future.
"We've explained to the players out of contract that we can't do anything until we're safe. The same has happened with pre-season and the games we might play and the trips we might make.
"Everything has been put on the back-burner to try to get enough points to stay up. If we can achieve that this weekend there will be a lot of work done quickly to start planning for next season."
