Amber Given York Green Light

Fri 09 May, 01:09 PM

Cape Amber will be seen in action in the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes at York on Wednesday after coming through a workout on Friday morning.

The Peter Chapple-Hyam-trained filly, prominent in the ante-post markets for the Juddmonte Oaks, has not been seen on the track since winning a Newmarket maiden in August.

Chapple-Hyam was not satisfied with a scope taken earlier this term, but has been buoyed by the three-year-old's recent progress.

The Newmarket trainer said: "I am pleased with how Cape Amber is coming along. She worked well this morning.

"She has never been extravagant at home but that was the best she has worked so far this year.

"She has got to run somewhere, so we are planning to go to the Musidora next Wednesday," he told www.peterchapplehyam.com.

"She will improve for a first run and the eventual step up to a mile and a half will see her improve a lot."
