Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander has tipped goalkeeper Jon Brain to put his injury problems behind him and fulfil his potential next season. The former Carlisle trainee, 25, joined the Silkmen two years ago from Port Vale but suffered a serious leg break at Stockport in November 2006.
However, he has returned to full fitness and recently put pen to paper on a new two-year deal.
Alexander said: "I know he can get better and I look forward to working with him once again when the lads report back for pre-season training."
