Stockport's star striker Liam Dickinson is confident his newly-promoted side can successfully make the step up to League One.County were promoted after beating Rochdale 3-2 in the League Two play-off final at Wembley last month.

Their achievement capped a momentous campaign in which they overcame League One sides Carlisle and Tranmere in the Football League Trophy and Carling Cup respectively.

"This season we've played Carlisle and Tranmere in the cup and beaten both, we put in great performances and that showed we can do it in League One," said Dickinson.
