The agent of Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko has denied that the Bosnian hitman is in talks over a move to Milan.

The 23-year-old's impressive haul of 26 goals in 32 league appearances were key in firing Wolfsburg to their first Bundesliga title last season, and the former FK Teplice has inevitably caught the attention of some of Europe's top clubs.

Italian media reported on Monday that Dzeko's father had met with Milan chiefs to discuss a move, but this has been denied by the player's agent, Irfan Redzepagic.

"Edin Dzeko is a Wolfsburg player and he still has a two year contract left to run with the German side," Redzepagic said.

"Reports saying that Milan are in talks with Dzeko are not true. I have been contacted by clubs and there are teams in England, Spain, Germany and Italy who are interested in him, but we have not received any concrete deal on the table yet.

"There are no offers for the moment, but it's possible that he could leave for another club. I don't have any information of a deal between Milan and Wolfsburg."
