Hibernian striker Steven Fletcher has revealed his desire to be reunited with Tony Mowbray if the West Brom boss moves to Celtic.
The 22-year-old played under Mowbray during their time together at Easter Road and has cited the Hoops target as a major influence on his career.
Celtic failed with a bid for the highly-rated striker back in January, but Fletcher believes now is the time to quit Hibs for a new challenge.
Speaking of Mowbray, he told the Herald: "He was a massive influence, not just as a manager but as a friend too."
He added: "It's up to the chairman. I want to push myself to further my career and if that means moving on from Hibs, then so be it. I`m ambitious and, if the opportunity comes along again, I think now might be the right time to leave.
"When Celtic were knocked back, I was a bit disappointed but I thought I handled it well. I kept scoring goals. It didn't affect me in a bad way."

187, it's obvious you know F--- all, BOLONI has turned it down hahahahahahahahaha
Still no manager? hahahahahahahaha even BOLONI has turned it down hahahahahahahaha
I hadn't heard the story Black so sorry...Still don't know why he's laughing though...
If he comes I can see the songs now...Shouting Boloni to the Police Tune 'So Lonely'...?!
.......and he's apparently being lined up if Mowbray deal falls through!
Nokturnal, Boloni is manager of Standard Liege. He's Romanian. He's won the Belgian League and cup this season past, Gulf champions cup with Al Jazira, Portuguese league, cup and super cup with Sporting Lisbon (where he brought Ricardo Quarisma and Cristiano Ronaldo through to the first team) and before that won the French league2, with AC Nancy. He was also Romania's national coach for a while. So chees, you can laugh at his name all you want, but his CV ain't too bad.
Maybe it's big Flatfoot (Broadfoot) and he can have a boiled egg to go with his Baloney sandwich...Wondered if he's learned how to cook one yet...?
Anyway, Nokturnal - I heard it was a nudie photie of big Gattuso that was on his wall!
186 - Barring Chees's mis-spelling of Baloney, I bet he doesn't even know the origin of the word! CHEES: It you're reading this, it originates from the Italian town of BOLOGNA!!
Why does chees keep going oan about Boloni (Baloney)? Does he love Italian Sausage perchance? Bet there's a big naked poster of Amoruso up oan his wall...
