Sheffield United target Andrew Surman expects to team back up with Southampton's squad for pre-season training on June 22.
The Blades have reportedly made an undisclosed bid for the 22-year-old Saints midfielder, but Southampton are still waiting to exit administration, with takeover group Pinnacle carrying out due diligence.
Surman told BBC Radio Solent: "I haven't thought about it too much until it actually moves forward. Until the takeover at Saints goes through, then we're in a bit of limbo.
"When a serious bid comes in then that's when you have to review your situation, but we're not at that stage yet.
"At this stage I haven't thought any further than going back to Southampton for pre-season on 22 June.

Surman will be like all footballers, if Sheffield United make a bid what Saints think he is worth, he will be gone pronto...
"Surman hints at Saints stay" You must be seeing something im not, I suggest it means if the 'right' offer come in he will do what all pro' footballer do and go!
