Portsmouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has signed a new three-year deal at Fratton Park, while Celestine Babayaro is training with the squad.Begovic, 21, was born in Bosnia but raised in Canada, and has yet to make a first-team appearance at Pompey.
And the club have also offered a trial to former Chelsea and Newcastle full-back Babayaro.
Babayaro has been a free agent since an ill-fated move to Los Angeles Galaxy ended after just 45 minutes.
Now the 29-year-old is bidding to win a permanent Fratton Park deal after being granted a week's trial.
