Finnan is a great player but fastly approaching the twilight years of his footballing career.i think hes worth 1.5 million though in this deal barry will prove to be a great adidtition to the team raising morale and options for rafa.......come on you reds

It is not always about the best players but also balance in a team, that is why Barry will be a good signing. With Agger back to fitness we could have three left footed players playing. Sad to see Crouch going, he was the only striker who could play the Torres role and link with Gerrard. Please lets get rid of Voronin before the season starts, also we need a left winger and either Pennant or Benayoun should go. Final point, when are we going to see a player come through the Academy?
