The 23-year-old was the subject of a bid from Championship side Doncaster earlier in the summer but he insists he is happy to remain at Elland Road and help Simon Grayson's outfit challenge for promotion next season.

"I have two years left on my contract here and I like it at this club," he told Leeds' official website. "I'm settled here, it's a good club and it's nice to be a part of the manager's plans."

He added: "I came here because it's a big club and I want to do well here and hope I have a part to play in getting us promoted.

"If we can get into the next division this club can really take off again and I really want to be a part of that."

  2. Smith and Ferdinand had to go to bring in the finances that let the club survive and to cut the wage bill. Luckily there shouldn't be any concerns about that now so Kilkenny should definitely stay!

nemesis, lets hope grayson has alot off quality lined up to make the push back to the premiership, beckfords good but needs to spend more time on the pitch rather than suspentions.

  5. A player of some quality and class. The Leeds midfield will benifit from his presence and with Delph, Howson, and Snodgrass should provide the frontmen with even more goals than last season. Two/three more players are needed to ensure that we avoid the dreaded play-offs and get automatic promotion this time around. Lets hope the Manager has them lined up and ready to sign and only one more to leave..
