Hereford boss John Trewick insists the club's recruitment drive is far from over.

Of last season's senior professionals, only Richard Rose, Sam Gwynne and Craig Jones remain, although the returning Ryan Green is a familiar face.

Speaking to the Hereford Times, Trewick said: "I need to sign a further three players. There is nothing imminent but, with every passing day, things are getting closer.

"If the right player becomes available I would not rule out paying a transfer fee and there is also the possibility of a loan signing."

Trewick is also happy with how the first few days of pre-season training have progressed, adding: "There has been lots of enthusiasm and some good quality. I have been pleased with the way it has gone."
