World Cup 2010 - Spain to get double Dutch bonus
The Sun newspaper reports that Spanish players will receive the bumper payout if they manage to beat the Oranje at Soccer City in Johannesburg as the tournament reaches its climax.
But the Dutch squad can expect just £250,000 per man if they manage to go one better than the predecessors in the 1970s by lifting the famous trophy.
The two team's respective managers, Vicente del Bosque and Bert van Marwijk, will earn the same amount as their players in the event of victory.
Neither nation has won the World Cup, although the Dutch have made it to the final twice before in 1974 and 1978. Spain had not gone past the quarter-final stage before this year's tournament.
