Leeds boss Simon Grayson will be without defenders Rui Marques and Patrick Kisnorbo for the Carling Cup first-round tie at Darlington.
Marques has linked up with the Angola squad in Portugal ahead of Wednesday's clash against Togo in Lisbon while fellow centre-back Kisnorbo was already ruled out of the clash against the Quakers after being called up to the Australia squad.
The Australians take on the Republic of Ireland in Limerick on Wednesday and both players departed for international duty after helping United to beat Exeter 2-1 on Saturday.
Lubomir Michalik and Paul Huntington are on stand by to replace them but Ben Parker will miss out due to a hamstring injury sustained against the Grecians.
Andy Hughes is on course to deputise after replacing Parker in the first half on Saturday, while Aidy White and Alan Sheehan will also hope to be involved.

yes agree, why sell delph for 6m? then not buy? no logic. post office in monaco happy though.
Start of the season and, without the required investment from Bates, Leeds is already looking shallow
