Eurosport - Mon, 09 Nov 09:29:00 2009

We look at the key facts and figures from the weekend's Premier League matches.

FOOTBALL - 2009/2010 - Chelsea-Manchester United - Rooney - Terry - 0

Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United

The 1-0 won over United was Chelsea's 11th straight home league win - a club record.

Since January 2004, Chelsea have lost only four of 111 Premier League matches at Stamford Bridge - twice to Liverpool (both 0-1) and twice to Arsenal (both 1-2).

Manchester United have won just three of their last 13 Premier League trips to London.

Aston Villa 5-1 Bolton Wanderers

Villa picked up their 50th Premier League win under manager Martin O'Neill. Only the 'Big Four' and Everton have won more league matches since he took charge at Villa Park in 2006.

Carlos Cuellar scored his first league goal for Villa. He is the first Spaniard to ever score for the club in the Premier League they have had 24 different nationalities score for them in the division.

Bolton's Johan Elmander scored only his sixth Premier League goal, and first in 2009. His last league goal also came at Villa Park in Bolton's 4-2 defeat in December 2008.

Blackburn Rovers 3-1 Portsmouth

Blackburn have won their last four league matches at Ewood Park. This is their longest winning run at home in three-and-a-half years since winning five in a row from February to March 2006.

Manchester City 3-3 Burnley

Burnley picked up their first away point of the season. Blackburn are now the only team without an away point in this campaign.

Graham Alexander scored his third penalty out of three for Burnley this season. In the past four seasons he has taken 18 spot-kicks in the league, converting every one.

City's Craig Bellamy scored the 100th English league goal of his career.

Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Sunderland

Sunderland manager Steve Bruce has now not won in his last 19 league visits to London as a manager, losing 14 times, since his Birmingham City side won 3-2 at Fulham in December 2004.

Darren Bent missed a Premier League penalty for the first time. He had scored his previous nine penalties in the division.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-4 Arsenal

Arsenal have now scored 36 goals in the opening 11 league matches of the season. This is the most by a club at this stage of a top flight season in 46 years since Tottenham netted 44 goals in their first 11 matches of the 1963-64 season.

Before the start of the season, Wolves' Jody Craddock had only registered three goals in 140 Premier League appearances. He has scored three so far this term.

Craddock is the second player score at both ends in the Premier League this season the other was Hull's Kamil Zayatte in their 4-1 defeat at Sunderland back in September.

Wigan Athletic 1-1 Fulham

Five of the last six Premier League clashes between these sides have ended as draws.

The nine top-flight games between Wigan and Fulham have produced a total of just only 11 goals.

Clint Dempsey has now scored three goals in his last four Premier League starts against Wigan.

West Ham United 1-2 Everton

West Ham have now gone nine Premier League games without keeping a clean sheet.

The Hammers have won just one of their last eight Premier League encounters with Everton.

Hull City 2-1 Stoke City

Hull's win over Stoke is their first ever Premier League victory in November - they had previously drawn three and lost two.

The victory ends a run of six matches without a win against the Potters.

Stoke have thrown away 12 points from leading positions this season, more than any other side.

  17. Once again the only way to try and stop Man Utd winning everything is to cheat. What the idiot Chelsea fans are forgetting is that Man Utd's second team totally out played and ou tclassed the Chelsea first team. Chelsea and the rest of the premier league saw yesterday how far behind Man Utd they all are even though we lost Ronaldo and Tevez. Based on current form Man Utd will win the Premiership again by at least 6 points.
