Shrewsbury striker Grant Holt has been named League Two Powerade Player of the Month for November after some impressive showings.The former Nottingham Forest man has netted four goals in the last month - taking his goal tally for the season to an impressive 18.

He told the club's official website: "It's always nice to win awards and it's been a good month for the side so it is a reflection of that.

"We are doing well at the moment and have picked up after we dropped a few points.

"It's the right time to go on a little run going into what is a tough month for us and if we can come out of that positively then I think we will be there or thereabouts."
