Brazilian striker Fred has returned to Lyon amid growing speculation that he will be leaving the club.
The hitman had been back his homeland for the past 10 days resolving personal issues, but having now returned to Stade de Gerland he is keen to finalise a move away from the French champions during the January transfer window.
Paris St Germain now appear to be the strongest contenders for the striker's signature after preparing a 10 million Euros (£7.5million) bid to take the player to the capital.
A number of English clubs are still believed to be interested though, with Fred's agent due to meet with representatives from Middlesbrough on Thursday.
One English side now thought to be out of the race is Tottenham, after negotiations between the two parties broke down for financial reasons on Wednesday.
Fred though just wants his future to be decided as quickly as possible now that he has returned to the club.
"I had personal trouble to sort out in Brazil," he told L'Equipe.
"I have just divorced and I have had to handle problems for my daughter.
"If Lyon and myself receive a good proposition then I will go, indeed I believe the best solution would be for me to leave l'OL.
"But so far, neither I nor the club has received any proposition, from PSG or any English clubs, even if PSG appeals to me.
"I hear a lot of clubs are interested in me, but I am waiting for the propositions.
"One thing is for sure, if I have to leave Lyon it will only be a definitive transfer, no loan.
"However, if I do have to stay at Lyon it won't be a trouble to me."
