New Zealand's Josh Geary and Australian duo Tim Wood and Michael Wright have qualified for The Open after claiming the three berths at the Australasian qualifying event.
Geary shot successive rounds of two-under 70 at Kingston Heath Golf Club to post a four-under 140 to tie for first with Wood, who shot rounds of 71 and 69.
Wright was a shot adrift in outright third place after carding rounds of 69 and 72.
Organisers had considered postponing the event because of the rampant bushfires in the southern state of Victoria, which have so far killed 181 people and destroyed more than 750 homes.
The Kingston Heath club is based in Cheltenham in Melbourne's south-eastern seashore suburbs, though the majority of the 25 bushfires still burning are located north and further east of Australia's second largest city.
The Open will be held at Turnberry in Scotland from July 16-19.
