Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore will be without defender Ian Goodison as his side face the daunting trip to the Liberty Stadium to face Swansea.Goodison incurred an ankle injury during the first half of the weekend's humbling 3-1 defeat at Oldham and boss Moore confirmed he will certainly sit out against the league leaders.
"At the moment we're waiting on the scan. He's very sore and can't walk on it which isn't a good sign," Moore said.
"He'll definitely miss the Swansea game and it could be weeks rather than days."
Aside from long-term absentees Steve Davies and fellow wideman Chris Shuker, Ben Chorley (calf) is Rovers' only other injury concern and Moore admits his only issue is a defensive selection dilemma.
"I have to decide whether to play Shane (Sheriff) as the left-sided centre-back or bring Antony Kay back in and leave Shane where he is."
