Kandol expected to shake off knock

Leeds striker Tresor Kandol is expected to shake off a knee injury in time to face Cheltenham at Elland Road on Tuesday evening.Kandol was forced off just before the final whistle in Saturday's win over Bournemouth, but is expected to be included in Gary McAllister's squad.

The Leeds manager has several selection dilemmas, with new loan signing Dougie Freedman hoping to start after making a late appearance on Saturday.

Midfielder Andy Hughes has also returned to full fitness after a knee injury and also made a late substitutes' appearance over the weekend.

Skipper Jonathan Douglas is back in training following knee ligament damage which has kept him out since December, but is not expected to be included for several more weeks.

Alan Thompson is also an option after being left out of the squad to face Bournemouth.
