League One leaders Swansea host Tranmere on Tuesday night with captain Garry Monk poised to return to Roberto Martinez's table-topping squad.Defender Monk missed the last two games with a back problem, but has targeted the visit of Rovers to the Liberty Stadium for a possible return and could oust Kristian O'Leary from the side.
Striker Guillem Bauza made his return to action after overcoming a groin problem as a substitute in Friday's 2-1 home defeat by Millwall and could again be involved.
The game is expected to come too soon for defender Dennis Lawrence (knee) and midfielder Paul Anderson (hamstring) but the duo are hopeful of coming into contention at Northampton this weekend while Marcos Painter (hamstring) and Andrea Orlandi (knee) should both be back before the end of the month.
Defeat against Millwall was Swansea's first in League One in four months but victory over Rovers could see Martinez's men restore their 11-point lead at the top.
