Hull manager Phil Brown believes his squad has the right blend of youth and experience to maintain a place in the top six.Brown's side surged into the play-off pack for the first time this season following Saturday's 2-0 win over Scunthorpe and will keep the pressure on their promotion rivals with a decent result at Cardiff on Wednesday.
And Brown has called on his players to continue their recent good form.
"I believe I have a side capable of staying in the top six," said Brown. "We've got a good group of experienced players and even the young lads are responding. Everybody is relishing the challenge.
"I've always talked about progress and that is now measurable by us being 10 points better off than at this stage last season.
"We need to continue that and we have a big game at Cardiff on Wednesday."
