Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov has confirmed there has been interest in him from AC Milan - and will be "flattered" if it leads to a bid.Berbatov is high on the wanted list of most of Europe's big hitters, though Spurs have always insisted they have no intention of letting him go.
But the Bulgaria international has reignited rumours about his future while in Sofia receiving an award and promoting the launch of his sporting foundation.
When asked about being linked with Milan, he said: "All I can say is that there was an interest from the Italian club, that is all I can say.
"If it produces negotiations I will be flattered."
He was also asked again about Manchester United - who are also known admirers of him and he added: "I know that Sir Alex [Ferguson] wants me for a quite a while, but at the moment I am a player of Tottenham."
Berbatov's future will no doubt be analysed closely by Tottenham coach Juande Ramos, who is set to overhaul the Spurs squad despite them winning the Carling Cup.
