Ipswich manager Jim Magilton has confirmed there is a two-year contract extension offer on the table for young midfielder Owen Garvan.The 20-year-old has already made over 100 appearances for the club since coming through the youth system and has been offered a deal that will tie him to Portman Road until summer 2011.

Magilton told the club's official website: "Owen has a bright future and we want that to be at Ipswich Town.

"He has progressed at the club and we want him to continue to move forward here.

"I've sat down with him and had a chat and the two-year contract is on the table for him."
