Bristol City defender Richard Keogh has extended his loan spell at League One outfit Cheltenham Town until the end of the season.The 21-year-old has made six appearances for the League One side since moving to Whaddon Road on an initial month-long deal in March.

"Richard has been a tremendous asset for us. It's a big plus to have him for the rest of the season and I'm thankful again to (Bristol City manager) Gary Johnson for loaning him to us," Cheltenham boss Keith Downing told his club's official website.

"Richard has struck up a good understanding with Shane Duff from day one and I think they are as good a centre-back pairing as any in the division."
