MK Dons assistant Ray Mathias has warned his players that "the season doesn't end on Saturday" - even if they do seal promotion.A win over Wycombe on Saturday would confirm the Dons' place in League One next year, but Mathias insists the title fight with Peterborough will go all the way to the last game of the season.

Mathias said: "The talk amongst the lads in the dressing room is that we have been top of the league since September and to be up there for that long and lose it would be very sad.

"Our season doesn't end on Saturday if we go up, our season finishes on May 3 and hopefully by then we will have enough points to win the championship.

"I can assure everyone our intention when we started out on August 10 was to win the title and nothing has changed."
