Jeremy Turner believes his experience will prove invaluable to Macclesfield after rejoining the club's board of directors.The local businessman was formerly on the board at Moss Rose during the time of the Silkmen's promotion to the Football League in 1997.

"I'm very pleased to be back," said Turner.

"I learnt a lot about the challenges faced by a club of Macclesfield Town's size last time around.

"I hope I can put that experience to good use as we work to take the club forward both on and off the field."
