New Brighton manager Micky Adams is set to take a fresh look at the players released from the Withdean Stadium by former boss Dean Wilkins. The Seagulls allowed 10 players to leave on Tuesday but after taking over on Thursday, Adams has revealed he is willing to reconsider the futures of the players released, which included experienced trio Gary Hart, Guy Butters and Kerry Mayo.

"I know it's been controversial and I have my own opinions of that," Adams told BBC Southern Counties Radio.

"I have my own ideas about three or four of the players (on the released list) and we will have discussions about it. We will see what develops."
