Everton assistant manager Steve Round praised goalkeeper Tim Howard after he set a new club record for clean sheets in a Premier League season.
Howard made it 16 shut-outs for the campaign in the goalless draw with Tottenham, beating Neville Southall`s long-standing record.
Round said: "He is a fantastic keeper but it has as much to do with the quality of our defence that we have kept so many clean sheets."
