Tue 10 Jun, 12:30 PM

Watford have announced the departure of academy manager David Dodds as part of boss Aidy Boothroyd's backroom re-shuffle.Dodds will now be replaced by current academy assistant Mark Warburton and long-serving member of the Hornets staff Nick Cox as the duo look to further develop the club's new Harefield Academy.

The club re-structured the Vicarage Road academy at the end of May by combining forces with the Harefield Academy to offer selected students 'a first-class education with the aim of producing not just accomplished footballers but also well-rounded young men.'

A statement on the club's official website read: "David leaves with the best wishes of everyone at Watford Football Club."
