Ramon Calderon insists Manchester United have "no evidence" that Real Madrid have acted inappropriately in their pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo.FIFA confirmed on Monday they had received an official request from United to investigate the matter with the English club claiming Madrid have carried out a deliberate campaign to unsettle the 23-year-old Portugal winger, currently on duty at Euro 2008.
But presdident Calderon is adamant his club have no case to answer.
He said: "They don't have any evidence because nothing has happened.
"All there is is what the papers say and rumours that the player seems to want to leave. But at the moment a move is impossible because United don't want to sell him.
"It's United's right (to complain) but we haven't done anything and we are not going to do anything. It's a matter between the player and his club."
Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has denied that the Spanish giants are "obsessed" by Ronaldo.
Schuster told the Spanish press that he will not let the issue overshadow his preparations for next season.
"This Cristiano matter does not worry me nor am I obsessed by it," he told Spanish newspaper Marca.
"While he doesn't play for Madrid all we can do is hope, although it's clear that he would be a great signing and would adapt well to our squad."
FIFA's regulations say one club has to inform another if they are to start negotiations with one of their players, although they do not stipulate any possible sanction.

Man utd made Ronaldo who he is and he has no moral respect for neither club nor coach. He is still under contract (4yrs) and whether he likes it or not he stays if not playing, then watching from the bench.United does not need the spanish pesetas, and we would teach Madrid a lesson. It's all a matter of principle.
Ronaldo grow up and think wisely as you won't get the same treatment at Madrid and don't be mummy's little boy!!!
MAN UTD FOREVER........AND EVER.........
madrid are always doing these sort of underhand things, it wouln,nt happen if they had to pay for these players themselves instead of having the moral and financial backing of the spanish government .its corruption on an enormous scale ,ask anyone at barcelona whom have had to put up with this harrasment and bullying for decades . fifa need to put a stop to this (tapping up) scenario and hit real where it really hurts . relegation sounds a good option as a fine would be not just piontless but also farcical , they are bullys and as everyone knows the only way to stop abully is to kick it where it really hurts , ronaldo is a prat also as everyone is replaceable even him . UTD 4EVA . rik from lancs
Let Cristiano himself decide which team he wants to play next season rather than rumours being spread out.. If he wish for MAN U let he be cos there is where he prefers..
