Southend United have agreed a deal to sell out-of-favour striker Charlie MacDonald to an unnamed League Two side.The former Ebbsfleet United frontman is one of seven players on the transfer list at Roots Hall and was the subject of a failed bid from Brentford last week.

Southend then turned down a £25,000 offer from Cambridge, having already agreed a higher fee with another side.

MacDonald is now in talks with the club about personal terms.
