Bundesliga - Wolfsburg warn clubs off Dzeko

Bundesliga champions Vfl Wolfsburg have warned Europe's top clubs that star striker Edin Dzeko is "unsellable".

Bosnia hit-man Dzeko, 23, scored 26 league goals as the un-fancied Wolves won the German title.

The former Teplice forward has been heavily linked with Milan - who the player described as his "favourite club" - although Arsenal and Manchester City are also reported to be interested.

But Wolfsburg managing director Juergen Marbach dismissed reports in Italy that a £25 million fee has been agreed.

"He is unsellable," Marbach was quoted as saying by DPA. " Milan have enquired but we do not want to discuss the matter.

"We will send them a letter communicating this."
