Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has completed the signing of Kerrea Gilbert on a season-long loan deal from Arsenal. The 21-year-old defender, who has previously worked with Pearson at England youth level, becomes the fifth new arrival at the club this summer following Michael Morrison, Lloyd Dyer, Nicky Adams and Aleksandar Tunchev to the Walkers Stadium.

"I have worked with Kerrea before and he is a fighter and a winner," said Pearson.

"He is strong in the tackle and athletic and we will only benefit from his arrival. I am looking forward to working with him on the training ground."

  1. dug.torso, keep your racist inclinations to yourself. What is the use of keeping a player you don't intend to use? The young fellow is going out on loan, meaning he is still Gunners' property. He may be used next season.
