Jordan Stewart hopes his promotion experiences with Leicester and Watford will help Derby gain an immediate return to the Premier League.Stewart was part of the Leicester squad promoted to the top flight in 2003 and was a Championship play-off winner with Watford two years ago.

The 26-year-old feels The Rams are shaping up well but knows a lot of hard work lies ahead.

"I've had promotions with Leicester and Watford so I know what it's like to get up from this division," Stewart told the club's official website.

"We've got the quality players here so hopefully everything will fall into place for us, but going straight back up when you've just been relegated is never easy.

"At Watford last season we had a great start, then we hit a bad patch and after that we were struggling to get out of it.

"What that proves is that over the course of the whole season you have to give 100% all of the time."
